Karen joined the Springhill Board in May 2025. She is an experienced estate planning attorney with a focus on wills, trusts, probate, and special needs planning. With 17 years of experience practicing in Oakland County courts, Karen provides trusted legal guidance to families navigating life’s major transitions.
Her passion for special needs advocacy is deeply personal—growing up with a sister with disabilities has shaped her lifelong commitment to creating inclusive, supportive environments. Karen previously led a church ministry focused on family support and accessibility, further reflecting her dedication to service.
Karen earned her law degree from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science from Madonna University. She is married to the lead pastor of Phos Church, and her faith continues to inspire her compassionate, community-centered approach to her work.
